NMC: All nurses working in the UK must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. You will need to create an account on the NMC website.
IELTS or OET
Nurses will need to pass either IELTS or OET as part of the NMC UK registration application process.
IELTS (Academic): Nurses must achieve a minimum 7.0 score in Listening, Reading and Speaking, and no less than a 6.5 score in Writing.
OET: Nurses must achieve a minimum Grade B in Reading, Speaking and Listening, and no less than C+ in Writing.
UKVI: Nurses will need to apply for a Tier 2 (General) Visa to be eligible to work in the UK.
